CheerBio shines at the 2025 EBC Light Food Conference: Using technology to make light food more vibrant!

April 28, 2025, Hangzhou International Expo Center—China's first light food industry vertical exhibition, the "2025 ENERGY BOWL Healthy Light Food Innovation Conference," officially opened. As a leading enterprise in the integration of urban agriculture and the light food industry, CheerBio showcased the world's first Internet of Things hydroponic planting terminal PlantBlock (CheerBio Planting Cube) and personalized plant factory IndoorFarmX at the exhibition, becoming the focus of the entire venue with its "Technology + Light Food" innovative practices.
At the exhibition site, CheerBio's exhibition area presented a complete technological chain from seed to salad. PlantBlock, as the world's first multi-variety hydroponic planting terminal, can plant multiple varieties of leafy vegetables, fruits, and flowers simultaneously through modular design and an intelligent layered control system. Occupying only 0.45㎡, it can achieve monthly self-sufficiency of vegetables for a family. The IndoorFarmX plant factory is equipped with a "one-click planting" system. After users select dishes through the APP, the equipment automatically matches the light, nutrient solution formula, and growth cycle, truly achieving "zero-experience cultivation of master-level vegetables."
CheerBio founder Liang Xiaokai revealed at the innovation forum that the company's three-year-long construction of a global vegetable and fruit planting database has covered more than 200 varieties, including leafy vegetables, melons and fruits, and Chinese herbal medicines. Through continuous optimization by the headquarters laboratory, planting parameters can be synchronized in real-time to global terminal equipment. This "large backend-small frontend" model allows distributed plant factories to stably produce standardized, high-quality vegetables in scenarios such as homes, communities, and supermarkets, solving the problem of large-scale urban agriculture.
Against the strategic background of the "weight management year," CheerBio specially exhibited a salad fast-growing series specially developed for light food scenarios. The seeds in this series can complete the entire cycle from sowing to harvesting within 28 days, with vitamin C content increased by 23% compared to traditional planting, and nitrate content below the national standard by 60%, making it the preferred ingredient for light food restaurants and fitness enthusiasts.
At the closing ceremony of the conference, CheerBio founder Liang Xiaokai was awarded the ENERGY Global Light Food Innovation Award · Artisan Award. Liang Xiaokai said: "We are cooperating with more than 20 cities worldwide to promote PlantBlock into school food education classrooms and community shared farms, allowing the next generation to understand the origin of food through planting."
