CheerBio completes its strategic layout in the Japanese market, adding another heavyweight member to its global partners.

On May 15, 2025, Apebio and its official Japanese market agent formally signed a cooperation agreement, marking another step forward in its global layout. This cooperation focuses on plant factory technology and hydroponic vegetable and fruit applications. Both parties will jointly promote the localization of innovative agricultural solutions in the Japanese market.

 

The Japanese agent is particularly interested in Apebio's IndoorFarmX modular plant factory technology. This product, through fully enclosed environmental control and a "one-click planting" system can achieve mixed cultivation of multiple varieties such as leafy vegetables, fruit vegetables, and edible flowers, meeting the flexible needs of urban agricultural scenarios.

Previously, Apebio's hydroponic strawberry sustainable harvesting technology has been verified in the Japanese market. Its pesticide-free planting model and circular system design are highly consistent with Japanese consumers' demands for food safety and sustainable production.

The two parties plan to leverage Japan's mature supermarket, high-end catering, and community networks to promote market penetration of hydroponic vegetables and fruits. Apebio's PlantBlock series terminals, previously exhibited at the Shanghai Flower Show, remote monitoring and automatic dispensing functions have attracted the attention of Southeast Asian agents. This cooperation in the Japanese market will further verify its technical adaptability.

It is worth noting that Apebio's “distributed plant factory” concept resonates with the upgrading trend of urban agriculture in Japan. Modular equipment can be quickly integrated into commercial complexes, community service centers, and other scenarios, shortening the supply chain distance from "farm to table".

Through this cooperation, Apebio further verifies its "technology + local partners" strategy for overseas expansion. Its intelligent planting solutions are reconstructing the traditional agricultural value chain, providing a new paradigm for global food security and low-carbon goals.
