Recently, the release conference of "Nutritional and Quality Standard Specifications for Food and Medicine Homologous Pre-made Dishes" was held in Beijing. This conference was jointly hosted by the Institute of Food and Nutrition Development of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Pre-made Food Committee of the China Vegetable Circulation Association. The implementation of this standard will play a positive role in promoting the research and development, quality testing, traceability, and promotion of preservation technology in the pre-made dish industry, as well as guiding the formulation of industry standards. The release of "Nutritional and Quality Standard Specifications for Food and Medicine Homologous Pre-made Dishes" marks a solid step forward in the standardization work of China's pre-made dish industry and will provide strong support for the future development of the industry.
Qian Keming stated that the pre-made dish industry connects both the vegetable baskets in the fields and the vegetable plates on the market tables, representing a new model and industry for the integrated development of rural industries.
The introduction of the group standard "Nutritional and Quality Standard Specifications for Food and Medicine Homologous Pre-made Dishes" will provide the pre-made dish industry with a unified, scientific, and operable standard system. It will provide clear guidance and regulations for the production, processing, and sales of food and medicine homologous pre-made dishes, ensuring that food safety management in the pre-made dish industry has a standard to follow.
